I want to write to you directly to tell you about a number of the actions that JB Foods has introduced to support you, your families and our employees in the face of COVID-19.
We are doing everything in our power to remain operational and ensure that you continue to have access to the products you need during these challenging times. To help our customers and local communities, we have lowered our minimum order value to £50. If customers want to place an order for collection, we will support wherever possible. We are also in the process of opening up our online ordering system to accept orders of a minimum value of £50.
We will continue to follow Government advice and ensure we operate responsibly. Hand sanitising gel has been given to each of our drivers and is available throughout our business. Disposable gloves are also available and mandatory when handling cash.
JB Foods are pleased to offer you an Essentials Pack that we are delivering straight to your door. Call 0131 448 2888 to order before 4pm for next day delivery. We hope this will help make life a little easier in the coming weeks. As a Scottish Business, we are keen to support wherever possible and provide alternative food supply to local communities.
We have diversified our business and we are keen to work with all caterers, especially if it means better servicing our local communities during this challenging time. Please get in touch if you think there is an opportunity to work together.
To ensure we are operating as responsibly as possible, we have asked our Business Managers to temporarily suspend all face to face meetings with customers. We do not want to contribute to the spread of COVID-19 and feel it is our duty to take such precautionary measures. Our Business Managers are still available on the phone or by email to help you in any way they can, please do not hesitate to get in touch. These are unprecedented times and we must stick together.
Finally, the health and wellbeing of our team is important to us. We have made the necessary arrangements to enable employees to work from home where possible. Our team are working long hours to meet your needs and we ask that you continue to show them care in these challenging times. We thank our team and our customers for the patience and support that has been shown to us in recent weeks. We’ll continue to follow Government advice and will update you if we make any more changes.
In the meantime, we wish you and your families well.
Best wishes,
Lee Brown
Managing Director
